Building Lifelong Relationships

Your pet's health is a lifelong journey that starts with a solid foundation and is maintained over the years with the help and support of a great veterinary team. At Animal Care Center, we’re committed to building lifelong relationships. Our compassionate staff is here for you and your pet, whether you’re looking for a routine wellness exam or in need of emergency medical care.

Pet parents have entrusted the care of their cats, dogs, and pocket pets to our practice for decades. The relationships we build with our patients help us better understand your pets' health. Getting to know your pet’s background and seeing them through wellness care visits provides a holistic view when combined with the diagnostics tools we use to treat your pets. This can give us important context to better inform their care.

The best and most compassionate care for your animals

“Dr. Brown and Dr. Montgomery have always shown compassion and concern for our dogs. Dr Brown is an excellent surgeon and spent extra time explaining the procedure for ACL repair and recovery.”

We’re Here When — and Where — You Need Us

Dr. Gary Brown founded Animal Care Center in 1990. Since then, the practice has grown into a full-service veterinary clinic with two locations, one in Pearisburg, Virginia, and another in Princeton, West Virginia. At both locations, our experienced veterinarians and staff are waiting to welcome you and your family's furry or feathered friends.

Between our two hospitals, we offer many vital services for the health and care of our patients. In addition to routine wellness care, our clinics can provide more specialized care, such as dentistry and orthopedics. We are also equipped to provide surgical services and comprehensive diagnostics. In fact, today, Animal Care Center is world-renowned for our Italian Greyhounds surgical rehabilitation care.

The entire team at Animal Care Center would love to meet you and your pet and start to build a relationship with you that will last a lifetime. We’re here to help you keep your pet happy and healthy. Start by requesting an appointment or call us for more information.
